MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2010 film?

Homonymous anime adaptation created in the 70s by the master Leiji Matsumoto, "Space Battleship Yamato " puts us in the year 2199, five years after which incidentally apareciesen some mysterious aliens called empezasen Gamilas and also to attack the Earth with meteorites giants and leave the surface completely uninhabitable because of the post -war radiation. The human race is barely a year old when he receives a mysterious message from the distant planet Iscandar, ensuring they have a device capable of suppressing the radiation from the Earth and offering help to humans. Determined to save the planet, the Defence Forces reconstruct the Space Battleship Yamato for in this way to make the incredible journey that will take more than 150,000 light-years away in search of an unknown planet that could be the last hope for the race human and the Earth.
