CLARY FRAY is an ordinary Brooklyn teenager until the night she meets the mysterious boy tattoos JACE, who turns out to be a half angel warrior known as a Shadowhunter. When Clary finds her mother JOCELYN has been abducted, desperately hopes Jace can help. After entering a golden portal that transports you through time and space in a heartbeat, Clary realizes that she also has powers to the Shadowhunters.
