MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

The chronicle of an Indian who incidentally gives life, for love of a white woman, confusing her for her prettiness with the Virgin Mary, struggling against society, prejudice and race well. He believes she will marry him when she gives him his handkerchief in his usual Indian people.
