The mansion of the Lord is preparing to celebrate the second wedding of the wealthy Tracy Lord George Kittredge. To immortalize the festivities a couple of journalists, Macauley Connor and Elizabeth Imbrie, are specially invited by CK Dexter Haven, Tracy's first husband.
