MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1962 film?

An elderly senator of the United States Congress, Ransom Stoddard, a reporter tells the true story of why he has traveled with his wife Hallie to attend the funeral of an old friend, Tom Doniphon. It all started many years ago when I was a teenager lawyer Ransom East who came to Shinbone by stagecoach, a small Western town, to practice law and enforce the law. Shortly before reaching its destination, is mugged and brutally beaten by the feared gunslinger Liberty Valance.
