MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1962 film?

The westward expansion starring the settlers, the annexation of Texas and the incorporation of Arizona, New Mexico and California, after a war with Mexico that is settled with the victory of the United States represent a spectacular advance toward the U.S. border Pacific. The film consists of four episodes on the settlement of the West who have time between 1830 and 1890. The first two and the last, were directed by Hathaway, and the third by Marshall, however includes an interlude, directed by John Ford, set in the Civil War, with a dialogue between the generals Sherman and Grant northerners. First film shot in Cinerama. The narrator is Spencer Tracy.
