MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1959 film?

The painter John Hamilton moved to the quiet town in Connecticut with his wife Linda, a lady with something unbalanced and alcohol problems. When she disappears, he becomes the prime suspect in her murder, so that in addition will have to prove his innocence.
