MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1953 film?

Musical which certainly fits the play by Marc Connelly and Frank B. Elser. In 1850 a cook an Erie Canal boat falls for a farmer working temporarily in the channel in order to save in order to mount a farm. It had been made into a film in 1935, by Victor Fleming. The downside is that she does not want to abandon life on the boat to go to a farm. This film is a remake of Contrastes (1935), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
