MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

Strange things happen in Riverdale, Illinois. Found, partially buried, a structure that appears to be giant alien origin. Senator Walter Powers and Dr. Paul Kettering, responsible for investigating the origin of this enigmatic object, they discover that parasites from the center of the earth, clinging to the neck of their victims to control their brains, have infiltrated the town and now control authorities and the workers and prevent communication with the outside. Powers, Kettering and a group of free people must stop the invasion.
