MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

Three men and two women from different backgrounds are taken to a saucer where an alien explains that his people live in a dying planet and needs to Earth. However, its code of ethics does not allow them to conquer. Does the solution ? They are humans themselves who accelerate their own destruction. This gives three capsules each capable of destroying human life in a radius of 2,500 km. The five chosen have 27 days to use them.
