MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2009 film?

TV Miniseries. Two chapters. In 1939, Hortense, intelligent and ambitious, it is raised in Jamaica by the family of charismatic Michael, who joins the Air Force when war breaks out and goes to England. After the war, Hortense, who is now a qualified teacher, married for convenience to Gilbert Joseph, who puts this condition to provide the return passage to England. There hopes to see Michael and have a life with more expectations. When comes to London in 1948, he realizes the obvious racial prejudices will have to overcome in addition to having to live in a single room in very different circumstances to which she had planned.
