MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1947 film?

A policeman tries to clear the good name of the brother of his girlfriend, accused of a murder he did not commit. It all begins when the gangster Duke Martin plans to dock, with the help of Clara, her lover, the salon where it works. The place is but the cover which hides an illegal gambling house. But something goes wrong during the heist, and a policeman is killed. Duke maquinará skillfully to direct the suspicions of the police towards the innocent Steve Ryan. Faced with the passivity of the police, who firmly believes in the guilt of the prisoner, will Steve's sister, Rosie, who will investigate on their own to try to unmask the real culprit.
