MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1996 film?

Paul Monette was gay novelist who wrote " Becoming a man ", a memoir that won the National Book Award. Ironically, Monette began receiving his greatest fame as a writer and produced his most profound personal and later being diagnosed with AIDS. Monette bravely battled the debilitating effects of the disease as he struggled to continue his work as a writer and be passionate AIDS activist before succumbing to the disease in 1995. This is a documentary about his life and work that combines home movies and recordings of interviews with Monette news, friends and colleagues.
