It was 1977, during one of the busiest summers and lived decadent New York. That was when, in the midst of blackouts, riots, serial crimes ? ? Son of Sam ? ? and the rise of the legendary nightclub Studio 54, there was a prodigy completely unexpected inspiration: the rise of the New York Cosmos, the first great American football set, and his superstar Pele. Adored the overnight by a town obsessed with fame and success, the Cosmos first lit the flame of passionate love of America with the world's most popular sport. Dragged, but for the unstoppable torrent of fame, glamor and debauchery, Cosmos found its destruction.
