MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1959 film?

During World War II, the Japanese pacifist Kaji avoid military service aims accepting work as a supervisor working in the mining camp occupied Manchuria. His first efforts, always despised by the top of the excavation, Okazaki, focus on improving the appalling conditions of the inmates. One day, the accumulated hatred explodes prisoners, and crude consequences are soon to arrive.
