MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1960 film?

Jean Carter, the 11 year old daughter of a family that has recently moved to a small town in Canada, said to have been corrupted by a man who offered her candy. The old man was talking about the baby turns out to be Mr. Olderberry, grandfather of the oldest family, rooted and powerful of the town. Although parents are convinced to report the case to the police, the judicial process is not as simple as expected.
