MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1938 film?

Hours before his departure to Cuba War, Captain John Carey, a career officer naval, invites his wife and four children to a picnic near Newport. During the trip, they discover an abandoned mansion Carey and stop to visit. Nancy and Kitty fantasize about having the money to buy the property. Months later, during a birthday dinner, Mrs. Carey receives the news that her husband has no life. To make ends meet, Mrs. Carey began working in a factory and severely injured at work.
