MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

Tiefenstein Castle in Bavaria is home to a boarding school for musically gifted orphans who are to be educated there in classical music. The institute is financed by donations from the foundation of a deceased American of Bavarian descent. However, the headmistress, Frau Himmelreich, has placed too many orphans in the boarding school. In order to be able to provide food for the crowd of children, most of the music teachers have been dismissed. When a telegram announces the visit of Dr. Parker, one of the trustees of the foundation, a saviour is urgently sought. The unemployed jazz musician Peter Hagen is immediately hired with his entire band, the 'Syncopers', to bring the musical education of the children forward again. Peter quickly wins the heart of his charges and also that of the pretty music teacher Britta.
