MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1959 film?

Under the German occupation, Jeanne Moncatel, pretty but complex, has to put up with her mother, a cantankerous old lady, who keeps telling her she is ugly, which she also believes. She takes in Pierre Ségur, who was fleeing the Germans and had his eyes burned, into their house. Her life will be changed.
