MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

Salem, 1692. The farmer, John Proctor, has made love twice with Abigail, a 17 years he and his wife have welcomed. When meeting hugging John and Abigail, she casts the girl of his house and John, feeling condemned, agrees. Abigail swears revenge. His opportunity comes when she accuses Elizabeth of witchcraft and manipulates younger girls to support their claims to see spirits. City minister and politicians want a cause: to free the people of witchcraft. John also is accused; Abigail gives a way to escape the gallows. Elisabeth has her own confession.
