MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1996 film?

A current story for adults, tells the unusual relationship, and ultimately terrible traumatized from a Slovak girl and a German who had been in the Foreign Legion. Herbert Strehlow, expert cabinetmaker who lives alone, traveling in 1991 to Slovakia to clarify some issues of ownership. There he discovers Leah, that a child does not speak. Strehlow falls for her because it looks remarkably like his late mistress, and virtually buys her stepfather. The brought to Germany against their will and are home with her. A relationship that is seemingly doomed to fail. However, each will gradually entering the atmosphere of another secret, feeling that binds a kind of spiritual affinity.
