MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1962 film?

A young boy is hired as a lifeguard in a large hotel after his mother's death. To make his dream come true, he takes part in a competition set up by the manager and wins the first prize: a two-day stay in one of the princely suites. He wants to give it to his young friend, the florist, but discovers that she has betrayed him and returns to his lift.
