MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1996 film?

With a setting in difficult times, located in the First World War, the film manages two characters that apparently all can divide and out but share a strange obsession and relationship with silk. It is an exquisite pleasure touch with this fabric, a strange fascination assumed in a sharing of feelings, this makes discovering Marie as a young lady willingly by stroking silk so much that one of these days wonder the feeling, is stopped at a department store to grab a slice and cut a dress on display, this results to be commanded and held in prison. Here the film depicts the passion and love affair of a psychiatrist, and a dressmaker. He is interested in the case of Marie and her fondness for this material, and write a book about it at the same time that the two come to love. With the complex stage of the war, are forced to separate, resigned to endure the trials and sorrows that await them, without taking away from the mind, to the end, only one desire: reconnect to establish some form or another love.
