MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1947 film?

The protagonist is gathered, in his old age disillusioned, fragments of a diary written in different periods of his life. For him know his childhood in the Basque village Luzaro, his teenage dreamer in the province of Cádiz, their fortunes and misfortunes as commander, and especially the fascination with his uncle Juan de Aguirre, transcript of former Basque sailors and true hero novel by John Doe, whose adventurous life is full of picturesque adventures. From the consciousness of a wasted life, Shanti Andia shows great longing for the sea of old, who traveled manly men full of impulse and desire for adventure, always in trouble with mainstream society.
