MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

Ferdinand is a strict French agent that monitors Assola customs, population partly French and partly Italian, as the border between the two countries through the village. Don Giuseppe is an Italian smuggler attempts to take advantage of this circumstance, however their efforts always looks truncated because of the relentless Ferdinand. But one day Don Giuseppe finds something very interesting: the home where he was born Ferdinand takes the line that divides the town, so that he was born in the kitchen, then it would be disabled as Italian and French customs agent.
