MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1947 film?

A teenager is robbed and murdered in broad daylight. He was arrested a young drug addict guilty of murder, and found in his home a few of the gems of the victim. The desperate protest of his sister Lina, awakened the compassion of Za -la- Mort, who lives in the same hostel than her, and promises to help. Looking through the papers and books of his brother, Lina finds the address of some friends, whom his brother has made vague references, so you decide to go to this town waiting for help, and all he finds is a place full of traffickers and opium dens, where she will end up falling prey.
