MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1938 film?

The baker Aimable Castenet just moved to the small town of Sainte Cécile Provence, where residents, for generations, keep so petty and stupid rancor. From the first batch, Aimable conquers all. They had never eaten a bread so good. Aurélie, his wife, takes care of the box, silent, eyes modestly lower. But one night, Aurélie elopes with Dominique, the pastor of the Marquis de Monelles. From that moment, Aimable, desperate, do not think about anything but getting drunk, loses his mind and come to think of hanging. Nobody can convince him to put back in front of your oven.
