MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1947 film?

Based on the story by Hermann Sudermann, " The silent mill ". After an accident caused by Carlos, his sister dies. Jorge, his younger brother helps him cope with the pain and promise never married to consecrate their lives to an unwavering fraternal union. By enlisting in the Navy George realizes that he loves the daughter of an old friend of his father, the brothers split and Carlos fall into depression that will draw the Ruth, a teenager much younger than he. Returning Jorge meets Ruth and falls in love with her, not knowing who is the wife of his brother.
