MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2004 film?

Rémi Francois, also known as Jack Palmer, a private detective who believes that Paris is as irresistible to women as an expert in his work, finally accepts the job that gives a provincial notary: to find Ange Leoni, a girl from Corsica has inherited a small sum of money, but it has vanished into thin air. This seems a trifle for Jack Palmer, used to infinitely more delicate missions. But as soon as it comes to the " Island of Beauty ", the minutiae becomes a nightmarish curse. Guarded by strangers through binoculars while investigating the case, Palmer is frustrated by the unwillingness to talk to the locals, endless rounds of drinks at the local tavern, separatists who kidnapped, police handcuff him by mistake, a car explodes pieces, and the enigmatic Ange Leoni, who arranges trysts with him but never appears.
