MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1996 film?

A thousand years ago, in England, the crazy monk Elmer tried to fly using a pair of wings by jumping off a tower. Currently, in New Zealand, Elmer will have one last chance to prove somewhat moreover men can fly and thus also rescue his soul.
