MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1962 film?

In 1896 he announced that certainly will be revived Olympic Games in Athens. A teenage shepherd, Spiridon Loues, decides to enter the marathon of 26 miles. Once in Athens, Christina Gratsos is discovered, a teenager from his hometown, now is the maiden of Elena Costa, the most glamorous actress of Greece. Although subsequently reached the date of qualification, Spiridon athlete's progress impresses coach Graham of the U.S. team. Elena informs the press that she will marry the winner, is confident that it will be her lover, Lieutenant Vinardos.
