MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

Three Marines spend a day leave in San Francisco during the Second World War. Frankie, of Irish origin, has problems with alcohol, can not stand her horrible stepfather, and lifelong girlfriend desperate for its self-destructive behavior belongs to a family Newcombe 'good' and must withstand the pressures of a dad who does not understand volunteer to enlist in the Navy, while Hawaiian meets a girl that attracts more than its official promised and finally Kantailis's Sergeant, fishing family, who marries his pregnant girlfriend he loves sincerely. A remake called En el amor y en la guerra (1997) was made based on this movie.
