MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1947 film?

Paris of the Second Empire Napoleonic era. In a school for orphans, Matilde, one of the girls, in love with Giorgio, an officer is seen with her in secret, without the knowledge of the principal. Your marriage will not be welcomed by his family because of the unknown origin of the girl. Determined to discover the truth, instructs Matilde Battista Gasparre and resort to a palm reader to discover its origins. Accidentally, Gasparre learns from this that he comes from a noble family. Parody of " Orphans of the Storm " by D. W. Griffith and "The Two Orphans " Carmine Gallone, both based on the novel by Cormon yd'Ennery.
