MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

In 1965, the Joban Coal Mining Company, one of the largest mining companies in Japan, was forced to reduce its workforce, considering that oil began to replace coal as an energy source, so mining ceased to be the key industry. The mining town of Iwaki and its inhabitants were no exception. In order to save the critical situation, the Joban Coal Mining Company undertook the great project of building a Hawaiian paradise in Iwaki. The main attraction of the theme park was the hula dance. He hired a professor of Tokyo to teach this dance to the daughters of the miners. The teacher, former star of dance and very proud of herself, disparaged the mine and the village girls not knowing anything of show, but was gradually reviving the passion for dance through the efforts and example of their students trying to master the essence of the hula dance. The support found in daughters of the miners will be decisive for the final result ... Based on the true story of the people who founded the Joban Hawaiian Center ..
