MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1998 film?

Recording music legend invented in 1981 by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the book " Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats " by T. S. Eliot. The plot tells the story of a community of common cats, once a year, at night, runaways and meets in the trash of the neighborhood to await the arrival of their leader, Old Deuteronomy elderly. This cat is the father and grandfather of many cats Jellicles and who each year gives the name of the cat is going to happen to a new life on the Heaviside Layer, a kind of paradise for cats. But, while giving the name of the lucky feline a clan member realize that there is a human watching and listening with a look of surprise to cats, and for that reason, we propose to clarify who the Jellicles through the presentation of cats most characteristic of this particular family. This movie is part of the Great Performances saga (1977, 1979, 1979, 1991, 1991, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2000).
