MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

A girl is found murdered in the woods of a small Swiss village. Soon suspicion falls on the old peddler who found the body. Only the commissioner Matei doubt his guilt, but just retired and left the matter in the hands of a partner. Meanwhile, the old man, unable to resist the situation, commits suicide in his cell. Once at the airport, ready to catch the plane, the curator Matei repairs in details told by the children of the school and decided to postpone his trip to start investigating on their own.
