Dorothy Day died after dedicating his life to others. This idealistic young man worked as a journalist and radical suffragist. His encounter with religion led her to work hard on behalf of the needy, founding shelters and soup kitchens. Staunch advocate of non-violence, was jailed several times for protesting the arms race and the Vietnam War.
