MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

Honest Pierrot is the owner of a café, his wife Dora sings in a cabaret, both benefiting from the friendship of inspector Gustave. However, they are persecuted by Albert the Caïd and P'tit Bob his lieutenant. One day, Pierrot revolts. A fight breaks out. Albert is killed. On the advice of the inspector, Pierrot takes himself prisoner, thus escaping immediate revenge. Acquitted at the Assizes where he pleaded self-defence, he still has to thwart the racketeers' ambushes. He manages to do so with the effective help of his friend Gustave.
