A rundown Russian Duke tries to recover some jewels hidden in a chair that has been sold at auction, for which marries a wealthy woman. It's a fun vehicle for showcasing Bozán Olinda, which includes some trucas and a brief reference to the Russian Revolution of 1917 with the sole purpose of locating the story. It is based on the story of The Twelve Chairs Eugeni Illia Ilf and Petrov, and there are several iterations of the same theme, including by Tomas Gutierrez Alea and Mel Brooks.
