MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1959 film?

In September 1943, German Lieutenant Captain Robert Wissmann secretly goes ashore in the neutral Republic of Ireland to seek help for his damaged submarine, where he meets a young widow, Maureen Backett, whose husband was a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down by the Germans. She helps him as the police search for him, but the budding love between them finds no fulfillment.
