MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

Walter Gerber's great hobby is jazz music, which is why he has formed a band together with other young people. However, his father, a conservative student councilor, finds this music anathema. In addition to his studies, Walter works at a gas station, because he, like most of his friends, has to earn his own living. Although he temporarily loses his job through the fault of the pretty industrialist's daughter Erika Hallersperg, the two become closer and fall in love with each other. Erika's brother Manfred is also in the student band. To the annoyance of his conceited mother, he is friends with the young flower seller Ruth Degner. When Ruth enters a young talent competition with a song of Walter's, Manfred wants to get engaged to her. However, Mrs. Hallersperg causes an éclat and father Gerber also creates additional problems.
