MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

Fred Berghoff is a reporter for the Abend-Express. On the day of his marriage, he refuses to marry his wife, leaving his horrified fiancée Pia to leave. The reason is purely economic, because Pia's aunt Olga Vogelsang wants to cut off the money supply to the Abend-Express if he marries Pia, because the Vogelsang-Werke owns fifty percent of the newspaper. Pia is the only heiress of the Vogelsang-Werke and, according to her family's wishes, she should marry a man who can later take over the Vogelsang-Werke. Olga doesn't trust Fred to do this, because she sees him as a little, not very intelligent, hack who just lives for the moment and doesn't want to take on any responsibility.
