MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1959 film?

By order of his uncle, the young Karl-Heinrich, Hereditary Prince of Saxe-Karlsburg, is sent to study in Heidelberg for a year. After a joyless youth in the gloomy, austere castle of Karlsburg, the prince begins the most carefree time of his life. He falls hopelessly in love with Käthi, the charming daughter of his landlords. But duty calls: the prince is seriously ill, and Karl-Heinrich must return to assume his duties as hereditary prince and future sovereign. Two years later, he comes back to visit - but the happy days of youth and love are irretrievably gone.
