MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1938 film?

XIII Century. In 1938, after a decade without releasing any film, Eisenstein returned to shoot another masterpiece: an epic tale about Prince Alexander Nevsky, who victoriously defended Russia's northern Teutons attack: the battle was fought on the frozen surface lake Peipus. He also had to deal with the invasion of Russia by the Mongol army led by Genghis Khan. The film was shot by Stalin's order to lift the spirits of the Russian people against a possible attack from Nazi Germany. Disappeared from theaters after one year after the signing of the Molotov- Ribbentrop Pact. Music is a cantata Prokofiev.
