MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

French Revolution. Adaptation of the historical novel of the same title by the English writer Charles Dickens. The English barrister Sydney Carton, who has an insubstantial and unhappy life, he falls for the charms of young Lucie Manette, but she marries Charles Darnay. When, in full revolution, Darnay goes to Paris to free a wrongly imprisoned his servant, also he is taken to prison and sentenced to death by guillotine. Then Carton, despite his love for Lucie, makes a bold plan to save his rival.
