MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

Marcia Jeffries discovers the media potential of Larry, known as Lonesome Rhodes a folksy tramp with his charisma and populist and demagogue wins the hearts of American homes to become a television star. His fame gives him so much power away from Larry to withstand the weight of popularity, are blind to the success and ends up falling into demagogy dark to serve political interests.
