MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1992 film?

Set in 1989, the legend of a man who was beaten moreover two former police officers and was left in a landfill to death. Wander, by the town, pursued by his attacker, who fears to testify against them. Marek survives after brain surgery left him amnesic. Marek finds refuge in a girlfriend / vagrant who allegedly was once queen of the boulevards of Paris. Marek regains his memory just as the villains are going to get him. Eventually he returns home only to discover that somehow his mother died and his brother went to Australia.
