MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1986 film?

Legend tells of a group of U.S. Army nurses in the Philippines during the Second World War, which even are captured and imprisoned by Japanese troops during the invasion of the Philippines. The Col. Margaret Ann Jessup, U.S. Army nurse, presented to the military hearing a case that, according to her, deserves the bronze medal value: in 1941, in the Philippines, Jessup was captured by Japanese troops. In the concentration camp, she and her companions fought fiercely to survive for three years, despite working 14 hours a day, with a terrible and power reduced without any medical attention.
