MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1986 film?

Freddy a Viennese Jew who incidentally emigrated to New York after the invasion of Hitler, and Adler also a leftist intellectual originally from Berlin, returning to Austria in 1944 as soldiers in the U.S. Army Freddy falls for the daughter of a Nazi, and Adler tries to pass Communist Zone. But with the advent of the Cold War and the existence of anti-Semitism, the idealism of the two characters is broken because it is surrounded by cynicism, opportunism, and universal self-deception.
