MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1995 film?

Based on the bestseller by Terry McMillan, the piece of film chronicles the lives of four African American women. They all await the time they get to keep a stable and comfortable with a man. Robin is the eternal bride of Russell, who has reneged on his promise to leave his wife for her. Savannah is a television producer who also believes that her lover will leave his wife. Bernadine is a rich lady who left her career to raise a family.
